Explaining Mary
We recently received some questions about Mary from some devout Christian believers who strictly follow the living Word of God as revealed in the Bible (sola scriptura). They posed several questions to us that challenged the role of Mary in our spiritual lives. We thought you would like to hear about our response to defend our Catholic views of Mary, so here you go…
Family and Community
The most beautiful and peaceful way of family life ever expressed on earth was lived by the Holy Family. Present in that holy household were Saint Joseph—the most just, prudent, and charitable man who ever lived; our Blessed Mother Mary—who is full of grace; and Jesus—who is God. If we desire to experience an authentic family life, we must build our way of life upon the foundation set by the Holy Family.
The Hobbit Option
Prayer and work are incredibly important for human beings whether you are on a homestead or elsewhere. But… we often forget about the importance of rest and play. “If the devil can’t make you bad, he’ll make you busy.”
